So Im amazed I still remembered my account name and password for this forum but I do have a question. I havent played GW in about 3 years now. I bought Prophecies and Nightfall and got frustrated trying to solo and eventually quit playing the game.

Now several years later I want to retry the game. The original email I created my account with NO Longer exists. I sent an email to the support section this morning with as much information as I could remember.

Question - how long before they will reply to me so I can start gaming again. Iv'e seen a few post saying it take sa while so should I check my email next week sometime or will they get to it in a few days.. Just curious so figured Id ask..

Upon further review , I didnt have an NCSoft account set up and I just did that and verified my email address. Now I try and log in with that it still doesnt work. Trying to figure out which account and password I need to log into the GW game with..

Anyone give me a hint, im getting frustrated ??

Support will help, tell them everything... it takes time.

You have to provide them with your Account Keys, if they still don't bite, scan them and send the pictures. Or take a picture with a digital camera, and send them that way. Knowing a character name on the account also helps. Also, let them know your birthdate, address at time of account creation, all of these things can help you retrieve your lost Acct/Pass for GW. When you get them back, I strongly suggest you make a Play NC account and link GW to the play NC account. Regardless of what people say about it's security... just use a non dictionary/random super strong password that can't be dictionary hacked via brute force. This account will HELP you in maintain your GW account because you can bind a new email address now and when you need to reset, you'll receive conformation.

If/When you get back into GW I have some small but sort of good advice you should follow, just PM me here if you'd like to talk, as..even if my advice is simple and quick, it'll spark a gigantic flame war for no reason because this is guru.

Hi,

I recently had a similar problem, I had to provide them:

All serial keys on the account
email address you used when registering
ncmaster account (if you have one)
name
address
date of birth

2 characters on the account.

It then took them about 10 days to reply and get my account sorted.

The first e-mail from ANet support team came in less then 2 days, asking me about the info that they need. The second and the third e-mail came in less then hours and the problem was gone.

Well I finally got my issue resolved. I ended up reading a FAQ on the Nc Soft page and realised I never created an NC Soft Account. So I made an Nc Soft account and ordered the Fire Golem thingy for $4.99 and then updated my account and changed my password.

They were looking at my issue and I got a reply from them after I sent an update saying I had resolved my issues..
